I had just finished premiering the Albert Glinsky's Rhapsody for solo violin tympani and strings at Juilliard in the Theater. Afterwards Albert invited to a party by the composer and I was introduced to a dancer that I had seen at school but never dared to say hello to. We talked for a good moment and I was so, so, pleased as I could now say hi when I saw her at Juilliard. So a few days later I saw her entering the cafeteria and went up and said hello. As we were talking she said... "you know you seem like a really nice person, how is it you can play so coldly?" Instead of getting angry or something I looked at her and immediately broke out laughing. We kept talking and that was that. But you know what, even though we became very close, I never answered her question.
