Violin Video Lesson: The Many Stories of Bill Fitzpatrick: Busking at the Louvre

So you see I was in Paris France busking. When I first started doing this I played in front of the Centre de Pompidou but someone sushi was listening suggested that I would be better received at the Louvre playing. So I went and ended up playing on the steps to the entrance. I put my violin case in front of me and made a little sign that said "Merci" and stood it up inside. Well one day a fairly large crowd was listening and I decided to play the Chaconne by Bach. Everyone was sitting and listening attentively but then suddenly in the middle a woman came up pulling on my arm. Startled I stopped turned and looked at her and she said, with a very strong southern accent, parley vous anglais? I said yes and she then said I just wanted to know if I could take a picture. Everyone started smiling and so was I so I said yes. I started playing again and she stopped me again asking could you move over there. Amazed the way was I did what she asked. She then asked if I could keep playing. She took the picture said thank you and walked away. So I continued with the book when I finished I looked in my case and there was a fresh 100 Frank note, which was a quite alot back in the early 80's.
